Solid Copper Wire Wheels?
Does anyone have the info of a supplier of these? I think this is what Micky used to polish the aluminum on his greenie restore but I have having a hard time sourcing them.
Two each Shopsmith Model 500, 505, 510s. Sawsmith Model 500003. Most of the SPT goodies aside from the compressor and the Planer.

IIRC, he used cotton 'wheels' with varying abrasive to polish.apexsunguitars wrote:Does anyone have the info of a supplier of these? I think this is what Micky used to polish the aluminum on his greenie restore but I have having a hard time sourcing them.
I have used brass wire wheels to clean things up(more gentle than steel).
There are different stiffness to steel wire wheels. I prefer the finer ones.
I think copper would be too ductile to be effective.
