Craftsman Tilt-Top Table Saw

Post by dusty »

My very first table saw; dates back to 1959-1960 when I was given this by the owner of the mobile home park where I lived in Biloxi, Mississippi.

A highly prized saw among the cabinet maker/furniture makers was the INCA tilt top table. I'm told it made precision cuts. Most user made jigs to cut 45 bevels. They believed this was the most precise way. Once the got it to produce a perfect 90 degree by putting two 45 together the glued it up so it could not move.

I don't think most of the INCA saws ever had their tables tilted ever.
