P/N for Set Screw for Saw Blade Arbor?
The short answer is 222458.
My source for that answer is here.
The setscrew is a 5/16"-18 x 1/4" with a flat tip available in the Help Kit or from almost any respectable hardware store.
Also available from here. (no longer available here)

Socket Head Setscrews
Does anyone online sell these in small quantities (<100)? Who needs 100 set screws of any given description?

I'm assuming you're referring to dissimilar metals corrosion? Stainless is pretty passive. It'd probably cause less corrosion than any other available material.dusty wrote:In the case of setscrews that are used in aluminum and cast, is stain steel a good thing??
As far as the base metal's strength, doesn't matter what the makeup of the setscrew is. If too much torque is gonna break it, too much will break it, regardless of screw's composition.
(I used to build airplanes for Douglas, and we had to know this stuff.)
