Dust Collector Adapter?

[font=Arial","sans-serif]Is this a Dust Collector adapter?.[/font]
[font=Arial","sans-serif]1” ID, 1 ¼” OD x 1 1/1” ID, 1 5/8” OD; 3” long. Can'tfigure out what it's for, why I have it. Maybe for one of my Sears handheldbelt or orbital sanders.[/font]

Do you have a ShopVac or any other shop vacuum cleaner? It looks like an adapter that I have with my Shopvac. I do not believe it is Dust Collector related.

It's dust collector related if you can make it useful someplace... :) :)

I did not equip with Shopsmiths in spite of the setups but because of them.

Well, I'm at our summer place with all my Shopsmith stuff - the Shopvac is home in CA. Selling the Dust Collector Saturday, so I'll keep this part.
