bad infeed motor

There is a tension adjustment (roller pressure) but you don't want to change that until you know you need to. The feed rollers may also contribute to the problem, There have been at least two versions of feed rollers and I don't know how to tell one from the other. More importantly, I don't know how to determine if the feed rollers are good or bad BUT you can rest assured that someone here will.

Ahh the plot thickens!

So now we need to know if the feed rollers are slipping, or the motor is stalling.

The older (IN)feed roll is rubber coated, while the newer version is splined.

Do be grateful for these what at first appear to be tangents!

All is relevant!!!

FWIW the tension is easily adjusted but heed Dusty's advice.

Yes I believe there are adjusters for the downward tension. I also had an issue with the mounting bolts backing out on my forward roller which prevented the first feed roller from getting a grip. Lift up the lid and look for the adjusters on the second roller, the one after the cutter.
