Sok! We had a good discussion re the model differences(for future reference).
Yes it has the variable speed control mounted on the leg.
Other than the color only the SS hole plugs are unique(now there are 4 of them in different holes) as the rest of the differences can be upgraded(blade tension and holders).
There were other earlier models on which the table and pivot varied slightly.
Tough to take a day to drive only to 'discover' tis not a good acquisition.
Sad that so many 'sellers' have so little knowledge of what they be selling!:(
