Attention 1960s Mk VII Owners

Post by db5 »

I parted out a Mk VII and have some parts (all in very good condition) that I will send to anyone who wants one or more for the cost of shipping. JPG and Bill Mayo can attest that what they have received was well taken care of.

I also have some things that I plan on selling on eBay, such as the speed changer with a cam that has virtually no wear. Since SS does not support this model I don't think it is a conflict to let you know what I have. PM me if you want something or if you want one of the FREE parts.

Another reason this site rocks.
Have those, but what I'm searching for is the mark vii badge/emblem on the base (indented rectangle). Any chance you have one of those looking for a home?
Thanks,

What is the vent plate? I know my wife vents sometimes (but not with a plate as some do).

The offer was not one of those "take everything or nothing" but pick what you want. I'll get the shipping cost, advise and you decide. I also have the lock, spring etc. but was limited to 5 pics so here's another one.

Don't know and if I were stupid I would ask you to post a picture but if you could do that you wouldn't need it. So, exactly where is it located (on the base doesn't tell me where to look and I don't recognize the indented triangle meaning. More detail and if I have it I'll PM and send it.

If it is only some logo or identifier had you thought about just pasting a McDonalds Happy Meal sticker over it? I thought not but thought I would suggest it anyway.

Please get in touch with me I am very interested in the item you call front. Believe it or not my gear rack is good. However I do not have the cam lever and parts to engage/engage the drive gears, so I leave it engaged all the time. Ed Friedl

What was labeled as the 'front' is to me the belt cover which has both the gear release lever/cam etc. you need and the vent plate(where the serial number resides) that I need.

OVER!:)

Thanks JPG. That's the one.
Here it is from a few steps back. The emblem would mount in the indented triangle featured in the pic.
Great thought on the McD's sticker. If I find one the right size I will post up.
JPG, is it just a printed foil sticker thing?
