couple of ideas needed

I made a large 24" round disc.

I need to make a stand for it to sit on a shelf.

I am thinking of just letting it lay on the shelf and have two holder on each side balance, and the lean back a little with somekinda support in the center.

very similar to a plate stand, just not sure of how to go forward?
