It's a little town in north eastern Az. Senator Flake, from Arizona was born there. Yes, the town was named after his ancestors.

Just half the town was named for Mr. Flake. The other half for Mr. Snow.
No Kidding.
Still a lot of Flakes around. The Snows must've picked up and left.
And, yes it does snow. Some years we get a lot. We're right at 6K' where we live. A bit higher than the town.

Gene, Mr. Snow never lived there, he came in from Utah,
to "found" the town.

My dad's baby sister married one of those Flakes, so I'm related to some of them.

Oh to be able to say with a straight face that "My in-laws are 'Flakes'"! Henny Youngman would have been green with envy.
