Adjustable stop collar

Post by hjlssfor1 »

Can anyone tell me who manufactures the adjustable stop collar that SS sells (I assume that SS does not make the collar)? I am interested in a similar type of shaft collar for another machine (for a shaft of approximately 1/2"). My SS is not accessible at the moment due to other projects underway in front of the SS machine. Thanks, Hank

Sounds easy to 'adapt. Donut/sleeve with od of 1 1/4", id of 'approx 1/2"'.

Thanks for the help. JPG's idea is a good one, but I need a smaller collar than the SS one, and McMaster-Carr had what I needed. RCPLANEGUY, I had found my way to McMaster last night, but I had not drilled down far enough (and I had not used the correct search phrase) to find what I needed. I just placed my order. Thanks, Hank
