DC 3300 works

Post by chris jay »

I have to apologize for my thinking that the DC 3300 wasn't worth a crap. Since I've read up on the subject, I understand it better. I use the 4 inch line and bush it down at the end to 2 1/2. It does a great job with the tools so far. Jointer, bandsaw, router, and plainer. I'd say it grabs 95% of the mess.

You may find that running 3" PVC (reduced to 2.5" at the tools) will boost your performance by increasing air velocity. That is what size Nick Engler suggested in his dust collection Sawdust Session.
