Visited with John (Farley) in Sahuarita, AZ. on Sat. and admired his new
(1956:) ) table saw. The micro adjustment dial for the fence was fantastic and made me realize how primitive the rail and fence system on the SS 510 is. I've read about the 520 upgrade vs. the Incra system in a thread here. Inconclusive as to which is better, and no real insight into how fine the alignment and adjustment capabilities are. I would love to see an upgrade in person if anyone in the Tucson area has one.
Would also be interested to know if anyone has retrofit their 510 to use a fence and rail system from one of the other table saw manufacturers.
Thanks.
Jerome

I can't help on the 520 vs incra question but others have taken bt3000 rails and adapted them to the shopsmith
