The wood wright is more a history lesson than wood working.
When I watch I keep hollering get Norm (of the New Yankee workshop fame who did everything by machine) to machine it for you, it will take less time.

Seriously I love to understand how the old time craftsman did things and why they did it the way they did. Roy is usually very good at explaining this but other times he seems to breeze over it or doesn't even mention the why.
