That is a weird looking Shopsmith with the lock down on the left. Looks like it has been rode hard

You sure would'nt be moving it around the shop much.

Farmer, that looks like it might be the remains of a Mark VII from the speed control and one end part holding the tubes. Not worth the asking price but I am sure a much cheaper offer for the parts would be acceptable in a few weeks.

I thought it was a VII, but it also looks like it could be what's left of a II. Maybe?

Are we sure it's even really a Shopsmith? Possibly an older copycat machine mounted on a funky stand?

I am not aware of any Mark VII clones and that headstock started life as a Mark VII.
