4 wire power supply cord?

I just got my first shopsmith and am trying to replace the power cord. I have a 1957 mark v. The switch has 4 wires attached to it, which come from a 3 wire cord with one wire splitting into 2 connections. I bought a replacement 14 gauge cord that has a white black and ground. Is there a way to make this new cord work? Thanks!

Yes, that is the right switch]View this[/URL] and I think you will understand. If you click on option 3 on the Blackboard you will see how I have mine wired. Doing this provides you with what amounts to an extra switch.
