old parts last call

Post by chris jay »

Since I'm upgraded I have lots of my old parts available to whomever wants them. Guard for table saw, main table and extension tables, plastic pushers, lathe tool rest. I'm short on space, and can't store them. I am going to use the fence for my bandsaw. PM me if interested

Chris, for some reason, I can't access your PMs.

Do you have the bracket, as well as the extension table? One of my ERs has a MkV headrest, and I'd like to put an extension table on the left end. But, I'd need the table, as well as the 2 tube bracket.

If you can PM me, let me know, or respond here.

Yeah, as soon as I get a camera.

Believe it or not, it wasn't a difficult conversion.

A 2X6 cut to fit inside the base of the headrest, a piece of 1/2 plywood under it, and another piece of 2X6, mounted sideways on the left end of the ER bench. I used the bench tube clamp bolts, to mount the top 2X6 to the MkV base. Sheetrock screws to mount the plywood spacer, and more sheetrock screws to mount the cross piece of 2X6 to the plywood. All the screws were driven up, from the bottom, so you couldn't see them.

The E-ER tiebar fits in the MkV headrest, with minimal cleanup. (Mostly casting flash.)

When I had my old ER, and the bandsaw, it was EXTREMELY stable.
