Incra Miter V120

Post by wrmnfzy »

Just received my Incra Miter V120 and began installation on my Model 500 SS miter safety grip but find in step 7 they call for attaching an aluminum clamping block to rear of faceplate. Ooooops, there are no holes in the faceplate to attach to. I know I could drill holes, but shouldn't have to. It's a Sunday so I'll call SS Monday and see what they tell me. So close but so far:mad: Anybody else ran into this?

Very unusual for an Incra product to be substandard. Very Unusual.

I just checked mine and there are two holes that correspond with the holes in the aluminum clamping block. Definitely check with CS.

Guess you will not need the undercut flat head screws then!

I agree that a call to customer service is in order. Both of mine have the holes. Jim

Customer Service

Called today and they said they had never heard of this happening before. They are sending me a new one and a label to return the one with no holes. It will be sent to quality control first to check the new one before sending out.
