Gas Spring Table-Raiser

Post by joedw00 »

Does anyone have this? I'm thinking about ordering one and install it to raise it in router mode, but it shows it in drill press mode. Would it work on either end?? I could have used it yesterday then my son would not had to help me raise the table.

Yea, if I understand your question, it will not work. If the machine is in under routing then the headstock is going to be where the gas shock thing needs to be.

Now if I am misunderstanding well then there goes that answer.

Thats the way I was looking at it. Sure would be nice, I don't use it in drill press mode, I use a stand alone for that.
