I was given a beat up shopsmith, identify?

Post by akersrus »

Hello,
I need parts for this machine but the first thing I have to do is ID it.
Only marks on it are on the metal plate. serial number is 84377 and it has a green headstock. Can anyone help?
Thank you

From the color, I believe it would be a Greenie. The serial number sounds too low. Does the LOGO cover snap off the headstock? How many screws hold the belt cover? More than two, it is a Greenie. Does the belt show? Is there an HP rating on the round cover on the belt housing. A picture or two would help too.
