The most hated person in America

Post by db5 »

February 23, 2014 – twenty years after:

The Terrible Tanya Harding incident wherein she was accused of being involved in the whacking of her Olympian rival, Nancy Kerrigan covered an hour on TV recapping whatever the news show wanted to show.

Tanya didn’t come off well – too bellicose, defensive, dismissive and still in denial. Nancy did somewhat better but was also dismissive – “You decide” was her response to whether she believed Harding planned, knew about it, etc. “You decide” is a passive way of saying that she did but didn’t want to go on record. She should have said what she thought.

I asked my wife how she now ranked Tanya – once the most hated woman in America with these:

O. J. Simpson
Casey Anthony
Jodi Arias

And does the dislike abate with time?

I already know the answer, as we all do who have self-supportive opinions, but thought I'd like to get yours so that I could show that you supported my belief (wise people that you are) or were just a bunch of ill-informed miscreants who didn't know anything about anything and never would - ever and beyond that - so there. And your vote is:

No, you don't get to add sitting presidents, future candidates for the office or others whom you deem to be most hated. This is a 4 candidate opinion poll. Well, yes you do.

Pray for Tanya, O.J., Jodi, Cassy (and those unnamed) God loves them all and even though we may excoriate them God still offers redemption and reconciliation.

Saw an interesting bumper sticker the other day that made me smile:

I would vote, but, I would have to google half of them first.:D

Also any skulduggery going on with the listing order?

After doing some 'research', ain't none of them worth the powder to blow them to hell, which they shall experience all too late.

I think you forgot Rupert Murdoch on your list. The greedy nosy @%$$% that decades ago forced upon us reality TV shows because he was too cheap to pay for decent programming and IMO (at this stage forget Humble  ) why the producers of the 2014 Olympics chose to waste an hour before the closing ceremony.
If he and his ilk had never been given the reins of TV programs we might have been spared the mind numbing plethora of reality shows that so permeate and pollute.

None mentioned, nor any that Steve alluded to, deserve the minimal effort it would take to hate them.
A waste of an emotion better reserved for shop clean up.:D

Gene, don't forget my Uncle Jake was a politician, in fact the ONLY one who didn't live up to my politician rule. (How do you tell if a politician is lying, Yep, lips are moving.) Jake's nephew (not my side of the family) should be the FIRST to go!

As for the rest of the freeloaders, VTBO! Of ALL 3 parties, and in all 50 states! (Bernie Sanders is a self proclaimed Socialist. And since he admits it, maybe he should stay.)

Gene, thanks for enlightening my evening. (Yes I know it's now morning, deal with it!)

Not quite!

We need some small hidden cameras and microphones, so WE can enjoy the show. But, we needn't tell the "contestants" they're being taped.

Oh, can we include ALL the Federal and State "elected heroes" too? Hope so.
