Mark VII lower guard

Post by e.friedl »

Has anyone tried (and had success) with using the model 500 lower guard on the old Mark VII? The later model guards are offset and the arbors interfere.
Did you need to modify it? The originals are hard to find and I don't like my hand getting near the spinning blade when adjusting the speed. Plus It would be nice to get better (than nothing) saw dust collection.
