End of the season build

Post by garys »

I'm just about finished with my last build of the winter. I do woodworking only in the winter, and it is almost Spring now, so the Shopsmith gets parked again for the summer.

I found a beautiful sheet of quarter sawn cherry plywood and I had enough left over cherry boards to make it.

I do the sawing and my Wife does the carving. I'm not really sure what we built. Is is a buffet, server, or sideboard? It will sit in the kitchen/dining room. Since it stores the trash can in one side, I told my Wife that we could just call it a garbage can rack. A pretty garbage can rack.

The back panel isn't on yet, but I'll get that tomorrow when the urethane on it is dry.

I have my outdoor work to take care of when the weather allows, and soon I will start on that.
