Mounting Drawer Slides Video

Post by rlkeeney »

I'm getting ready to install my first drawers with full extension drawer slides. I read a bunch of posts on how to do it and started watching videos thinking there has to be an easier way. Then I found this exactly what I was looking for. This method is simple.

I did my first one recently. There didn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary to doing it. I used it in this project.

Mine came with basic instructions on how to assemble and mount it. I got the slide from Rockler.

Great video and maybe helpful for my next project.

I've picked up slides at garage sales and thrift stores for years and have various ones. I plan on using some rather odd-ball ones for a storage unit under my 510. I don't know if this video will work because they are odd but will post ask questions with pictures and ask for suggestions if I run into trouble. This suggestion is a keeper. Thanks.
