hmph!
There’s a key. I presume to control access by way of creating an inviolable cut-off point for the electrical work. (This also brings to mind my long ago comment regarding mishaps during repair of my first greenie urging me toward becoming a half-azz auto mechanic.)
Got some important things I have to take care of this morning but when I get back I’m going to begin setting up to break this baby down and nudge it toward becoming a (as Engler might say) serviceable machine.

What a deal
I really like seeing pictures of all the accessories. An air compressor! What a cool thing. My headstock has one shaft that gets used for some sort of "sprayer."
If the bandsaw part is a duplicate of something you already have, and you wish to sell it.....
I hope your machine turns out to work well with a minimum of repairs!

As it happens I do have a Ryobi bandsaw and might be interested to sell it after I figure out what the heck I’ll be doing in this shop besides fixing old machines.
If that turns out to be the case I’ll check to see if you’re still interested.

Sounds good. I have an old cast iron Homecraft bandsaw that needs tires badly, and I couldn't get blades to stay on it, so I stole the motor for a meat grinder. The Shopsmith bandsaw looks like a decent bit of machinery, and I know I'll eventually get one., it's just a question of when. Hope your machine turns out to all work well.

Just got one!
And, I did. Found an old style on on fleabay for what I think is a good price. So, I'll not be needing one. Glad these things are still out there.
