Fettling

Post by derekdarling »

I have been incredibly lucky with CL finds of old planes for little money, and have restored many to working condition... to the level that this year I am going to start making my own.

By the way, did you know that the process of setting up a plane to cut true and properly is called 'fettling'? So, when you hear the phrase 'he is in fine fettle today', you now know from whence the term comes!
