Here is a link that looks like it would work, I have not tried this my self. good luck with this. There is also a gentleman named Bill Mayo that has a lot of parts for Shopsmiths. His email address was in a post several days ago. I have not dealt with him but in following early post he sounds like a nice person who is very honest and knows SS very well. Ron

Whart is a "plastic yoke?" is the PVC drive sleeve for the SPTs?
If so, SHopsmith DOES INDEED have them.
Is this it?

It is not the coupler. The plastic yoke is in the lower housing of the jigsaw. It connects the driveshaft, which the coupler attaches to, and the yoke couples to the bracket assembly which attaches to the shaft that moves up and down. The model of the jigsaw is 610 # 505644. I have Shopsmith 5 but has several upgrades. Shopsmith discontinued jigsaw and part is not available. Thanksskou wrote:Whart is a "plastic yoke?" is the PVC drive sleeve for the SPTs?

Ron, thanks. I saw the video couple of days ago. I located a plastic supply company and hopefully be able to get the plastic there. looks like this may be only option. Thank you Chuckcaptainron wrote:Here is a link that looks like it would work, I have not tried this my self. good luck with this. Yoke fabrication
Ron, I purchased some 3/4 inch plastic from a plastic supply company today and made the yoke. Jigsaw is working well. Hopefully will be a long term repair. This is not a difficult project. You can email me if you would like to get some feed back from me on my initial fabrication. chuckwhyte@hotmail.comcaptainron wrote:Here is a link that looks like it would work, I have not tried this my self. good luck with this.
