mark VII rail extrusion

Post by e.friedl »

The rail on the front of the table for the fence is an aluminum extrusion on the Mark VII. It is also used on the right angle extension table. The PO bent up the extrusions on the extension table. I want to replace them. Does anyone know if they are the same shape as on the mark V of the same vintage. If so I will have a lot easier time to find some of the extrusion.

The extrusion used on the Mk7 and the Mk5 model 520 use the same extrusion
as far as I can tell. The difference between the Mk7 and the 520 is the addition of he Power Pro headstock and the two way tilt feature.

I believe the Mark VII and the Mark V 500 fence bar extrusion share the same cross section.

I think it is the same extrusion as the 500 fence rail, aluminum bandsaw fence rail and bandsaw extension. I sold the Mark VII extension table that I had so I am going from recollection. How about a picture of the Mark VII extrusion?

The extrusions mentioned by Robb are the same, but the length and hole spacing will vary.
