When I see something like this, I ask the seller (on eBay) if there is a mistake in the price.wa2crk wrote:I knew prices were going up, but really!!!

Super Shop similar to Shop Smith but it turns, mills and cuts metal in addition to wood. I have many accessories including a bandsaw and much more. Cost over $6000 new will sell for $3200 or best offer with all of the accessories. I have pictures if interested.
And I have a 2003 Lincoln Town Car Cartier (with everything offered at the time). Cost $54,000 plus new but I am willing to sell it for $28,000. 66,000 miles, new tires, no rust almost perfect. Needs no restoration. I have pictures if interested.
Like the Shopsmith, they don't make the TC. It is now vintage. It's value only goes up. If I wait 50 years and keep it as it is I may get $54,000.
I don't know which to choose.

There has been an awakening! Since I queried this seller about the asking price for these power couplers, the price changed from $65 to the now still too high a price of $35.
A pair of couplers (556135) sold by Shopsmith will cost you $34.38 plus shipping.

Here is still another unbelievable deal offered by that same seller.

Stay tuned for more. This same seller is asking $375 for a headstock with $100+ for shipping and if he doesn't sell he will be parting out the headstock.

Actually I love these "guys", wasting there time thinking they got "gold" laying around in there garages and basements. It is my HO that most SS owners know the going prices for new and used parts and SPTs and will not bother with those type selling at those prices. Then again I have a bro that is a sales persons dream, he bought a Rigid toilet snake from HD for my mom when in town because the was a plugging in the line. They have 3 ranging in price from 7.95 to 56.95 for the Ridgid. All have a 3 foot handle/tube, with 3ft of usable "snake", he bought the 56.95 Rigid because it said 6ft long, were the rest said 3ft, they all only have 3ft of usable coil!!! They were all open and just had some card board sleeve to hold them together.
Measure once, cut as many times as needed to get it right! Bob

Speaking of "ridgid", y'all do realize ridgid at HD and ridgid plumbing tools are made by 'different' folks all under the Emerson umbrella. Wide difference in quality and support.rbursek wrote:Actually I love these "guys", wasting there time thinking they got "gold" laying around in there garages and basements.
