Need help installing speed control

I got the quardant in. I am trying to line it up with the FAST/SLOW. What letter does the indent line up with? Can take pictures when I get home from work if that helps..

Set the control to 'fast'. The control, not the dial. The control sheave should be as open as it will go.

Then align the dial to fast at 12 o'clock.

Attach the knob and tighten set screw making sure it goes into the depression in the shaft.

Are you aware of the 'high speed stop adjustment procedure'?

Thanks. I did see that before. I just needed to know to line up the arrow on the headstock with the correct RPM on the dial. I don't feel to confident working around spinning belts. I wasn't sure if fast was sheave all the way open or closed.

Just make sure you are looking at the correct pulley.(idler pulley open at fast);)

Motor pulley closed at fast;).(belt at outer rim)
