I picked up this 1990 version Wednesday. It looked a little rough but seemed to be worth the $50 the PO was asking.

Missing the front and rear guard/dust chute, all three pins, and the fence assembly. I think I will make a fence/dust collector but the pin thread size was not what I was expecting. Thread size would be helpful if anyone has it available.

It cleaned up well. I added a 2hp router. The router base is attached to the bottom of the table. The router motor can easily be repositioned for under table routing.

The bottom front and back rail don't look like they were installed correctly. It is still quite sturdy but the left side leg rail holes are 11 inches from the floor and the right side leg rail holes are at 10 inches. The PO cut a notch in the bottom right side rail for the caster foot pedal to clear.

Yep you got yourself a real deal. I've seen these go many hundreds of $$.
You have the same vintage as I do. The green color gives it away.

Good news on the pins you need, they are the same as the ones the current version. I don't have my booklet available right now but either I will get the numbers for you later or maybe another user will provide them first.

As Ed indicated the routing pins are still available from Shopsmith; the thread on the pins is 10-32 if you are looking to make something other than the three pin sizes available.
When installing casters on this stand the Shopsmith instructions called for removing the two bottom side braces to allow room to install the caster assemblies along with their adapters. The instructions then recommended, as an option, that the bottom side braces be shortened at both ends and reinstalled using the existing side mounting holes located up at the middle of the stand. The bottom front and back braces should remain in their original locations.

I had a Craftsman router that I have had in a router table for nearly ten years. I should have left it in the router table. Evidently there was something inside the router motor that was ok when it was upside down but when I turned it on setup in the OPR the armature took a beating. I have 4 other routers in the shop but they are all plunge routers and I had to go buy another fixed base.
