Body Parts - Free

Post by db5 »

For 1960s Mk. VII - Any of these are free. You pay for shipping which will be calculated at the cheapest rate. Let me know if you want something.

One reason you might want the headstock casting is if you ever over tighten the allen screw that locks the eccentric and crack the headstock, you're screwed. The only solution is a new headstock case. And there aren't a lot available.

If there are no takers all this goes to the scrap metal place.

I would like the vent plate. A small padded envelope should be sufficient(1st class).

If no one else wants this stuff, I will take whatever is left over.

Does not need to be packed with care re paint. All will be 'refinished'.

Please if any one wants any of this, speak up.:)

I just do not want to see it go to the scrap yard.

lever

Post by e.friedl »

If the lever assembly (the one that engages and disengages the drive gear to move the headstock along the gear rack) is available I'd love to have it. My gear rack and gears still work but all the lever system is missing. So I can't take the gears off line to just slide the headstock. Well I could if I took the cover off but that is too much work.
