I don't remember much about Penny. The real attraction for me was Shadow (aka White Shadow).

Do you mean Sheena, Queen of the Jungle or are you thinking of Irish McCalla.

Man you guys are old. I'm nearly as old as dirt and I can only remember the old timers talking about Sky King and Penny, Sheena and Jane.
So if I am nearly as old as dirt and the old timers were talking about that and you remember it, well that makes you older than dirt!:D

I feel so young again. I feel pretty.

Most of you guys are youngsters.

Do any of you remember sitting in front of the Zenith and listening to "The Shadow".

Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows.

Then came "Dragnet".

Then there was another sponsored by Pall Mall but I don't remember the name.

Aah, I remember. What is the Big Story.

Then it was time for bed and mom turned the radio off.

My Sunday afternoons were spent listening to 'Mutual Radio Network' and included

'The FBI in peace and in war'.

Green Hornet.

The Shadow. Not the Basketball coach!

Oh yeah Dusty, Dragnet also.

And others that will not resurface in my mind.

IIRC, Sky King was a Sat Morning serial.

This was the same time as the 10E debut.

It stayed on track for the first eight posts but hasn't been there since.

Here, many these will put it back.
