some good thinking here
This clone is for sale in Alberta. It has some innovative additions. It sits on a nice storage base on casters and the sanding disk has a custom made table with dust pickup and what seems to be an overhead guard. The work light is cleverly mounted and the main tables, rails and fence look like those off a Ryobi BT3000, complete with router but missing the sliding miter table. The power switch is in a safer location. All in all, it looks like excellent lipstick on a pig and I like what he did.

I know owners of the BT3000 can be like us in their appreciation of their tool and somewhere on their forum I saw mention of using the tables this way.
Inspiring to see the mods. I have to replace the switch and wiring on my greenie,I might do that. It could be mounted on a magnetic base so it can be moved.

Greenie (no serial #), 82 Mark V 500 serial #128648, ci bandsaw, old jigsaw, planer. All one buy in March 2014. Magna Jointer added Nov. '14. Speed reducer, conical disk and two bearing quill upgrade.

The BT3000 parts are very compatible to the Mark V.

Yeah, I would like to know how the "light bar" is attached and why it does not interfere with materials coming off the table.reible wrote:I see a couple of ideas here that I might steal.... I wish we had a better view.
Thanks for the posting!

Yeah, me too. I sent the seller a message politely requesting a few more photos, but no response (yet). He has a lot of items listed for sale, so may be too busy. If I do get any in next few days, I will post them.
It does look like the light bar support is below the table top.
Looking at the advert again, I notice a fuzzy photo of a belt sander he has also adapted. That might be part of the light support visible at the rear corner of the table.
