Whoa now, Fred.
I'm ready for a black leader. And, there are plenty of ladies I can think of, some of them black, that would certainly get my vote.

Understanding that I’ve likely led some to misjudge my views of Hillary as a candidate — to be clear — I’m very much inclined to vote for her and might have in her previous bid had it not been for one fatal error.

An error that was made by all of the candidates except the guy who wound up winning the office.

I just think she did herself a small disservice with that ‘broke’ statement. Broke is NOT what the average American, or anyone for that matter, perceives as a condition the Clintons have experienced at any time in recent history.

She's got no idea of how the little people live. A career politician and married to one who know nothing what it's like down here under 100k.
Term limits. I have no idea how anyone could vote for her...or any democrat.

Think about that statement, please.

Do you really feel that there is no one in the Democratic party that would/could serve this country well. Conversely, there are many Republicans (including one I voted for) that this country can do without and that I will never vote for.

Party affiliation does not provide the answer.

Voting record - maybe. Party affiliation - no. You need to know a lot more than Republican or Democrat, Conservative or Liberal. Those distinctions are highlighted on the flyers they circulate. Very few of them voluntarily show their voting record anywhere during their campaign. Not their real "voting record". They all stand for what they think will get them elected or reelected.

Example: Party of Change. We got change all right.

Its a general statement..but one Ive come to trust. It does indicate where they lean, and that tends to tell me enough. Fair? maybe not, but in a sea of candidates, I have to sort them somehow.
And yes Ive liked Dems before. But don't seem to find any now.
And a guy up here, last name Connolly, set it in stone.

Yep, affordable health care for 10 million folks, ended 2 wars, stock market went from 6,000 to almost 17,000, and much more. Still lots of work to do on the debt and job creation, but it's going in the right direction, just a little slow

Let's give the current party a little more time to accomplish what needs to be done before bashing them too much.

Dusty is right. You can't go by party affiliation anymore. There's really not much other than rhetoric separating the two major parties. Both are beholden to special interests, both are pro-war, both are anti-civil liberties, both are for spending more money we don't have, both think they can run your life better than you can (but each of them in their different ways). There are people of integrity and principle in both parties, but they are few and far between. And we collectively as Americans are a bunch of intellectually dishonest or perhaps just ignorant dopes for letting them get away with the crap they get away with.

Recently a liberal law professor, Jonathan Turley, stated that Obama was the very danger the Constitution was designed to avoid. And he's right. But Obama isn't the only danger. That statement could apply to the majority of people in government. And going back several administrations too.

I am glad for those folks that now have 'affordable health care'.

I just wish the country could afford the cost.

Stock market almost tripling while most of us have a declining disposable income. Who's making out with that?

And no the previous 'administration' did not do much better. At least 'he' was not on a path of outright disregard for 'the rules of oversight'.

Shall be interesting how history judges 'him'.

Too much 'power' in DC. Maybe we need some AC. Congress that Actually Cares about their constituents.
