need pinion lock for Mark V
I am a new owner of a Mark V made in 1979 purchased in the UP of Michigan. After trying to use the lathe, I discovered missing parts for the carriage and checked the parts list online to find two of three parts. As luck would not be in my favor, the pinion lock(part #504260) is shown as #149 on the spare parts list and #166 on the list online for the Mark V 500 which they tell me is the same. I need someone to make this part on a metal lathe but need the part to copy. Is there anyone out there who can do this that might have access to the part from a Mark V? Another possibility is someone parting out a Mark V that is willing to sell the carriage Assembly. I will be able to pay for this service. Thanks
