Band Saw Green Color ?

Has anyone used that Rustoleum Verde Green on a bandsaw ? Were the original greenie bandsaws a hammered finish ? Any suggestions on paints? What about the second headstock color, anything out there ?

Who cares what color it was originally. It may have been a funky light brown!

Paint it whatever suits your fancy.

Hammered silver IIRC.

Verde green hammered may be discontinued in a rattle can.

Interesting! There appears to be more options than I realized! The plastics version is interesting especially if wanting to paint the band saw plastic cover.

Not at Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart or a small local. Lowes said I would have to buy a case, it's special order.

That is corporate crap!

They have gazillions of stores that can move a case easily one can per store.

Now I can understand a mom n pop having to do that, but again more corporate crap from the distribution channel.

Either you sell a 'line' of a product or you do not. I understand the need to not fill shelves with dead stock. but when someone expresses a need and is willing to pre pay . . .

One more reason to patronize yer locally owned/operated stores(if you can find one!)
