They have a brochure copy of a picture of the Model 10, but I don't see any actual pictures of it. They also mention a cast iron Shopsmith.

I wonder what are "real unit" pictures, and what are "found on the internet" pictures?

I certainly wouldn't pay the asking price, without knowing EXACTLY what they're selling.

"ALL SOLD BY SEARS."

Really? Seriously?

The late, great, Monkey Wards USED to sell the Model 10, in the Truman/Eisenhower administrations, but NOT Sears!

Sorry, there's too many holes (not to mention almost 3000 miles) between this sale and me!

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

I'm guessing maybe the first picture is what they have ? Don't insult them by low balling, but they can insult you by selling at over four times the going rate.

Let us see, half price. Hmmmm when that greenie(ignore the goldie pivot casting) was 'new' it cost less than $300. So $150 would be a reasonable offer!:D(assuming it runs!!!)

You guys are hard.

If everything pictured is for sale as a lot for that price it is a steal. The seller obviously does not know what he has for sale. Like has been said, they picture 4 different machines; two of which appear to be in great shape. One brochure is a Mark 7 item and there is no Mark 7 in the offering nor is there a 10.

Is there a box of goodies that goes with all of those machines. Wish I was closer.

The "I Am Addicted" patch looks very familiar. I know where it originated.

Hmm,

First pic, guessing maybe the real one being sold: Aren't the legs and bottom headstock pan gray? Along with the aforementioned goldie casting. Could this be a Shopsmith version of a Johnny Case "One Piece At A Time" Cadillac? This could have tremendous historic value: 10E, ER, 2, VII, goldie, greenie, 500, 505, 510, 520, 7 build. :D

This makes me think of key word spammers I see on craigs list all the time. Mostly on motorcycle ads.

At the bottom of their ad they put as many motorcycle brands as they can think of so that some one looking for a BMW will see their Honda Ruckus ad.

That is one of those ads that I might read but wouldn't respond to...
