Taking it apart I saw that one of the guide bearings had been run loose for who knows how long. The hole for the bearings shaft is worn pretty good, so this would have cost me money to fix. This saw was pretty much used up. It also has all those electronic doo dads that don't work. If I'm going to rebuild one I would rather it be an older one.
Motor/carriage assembly is boxed and waiting for pickup.
