I am making a drawer with a beveled front panel. I cant remember when I used a TS to cut a bevel last, usually do them on the router table. This is an angle that I dont have a bit for so doing it on the table saw. I cant remember if there is a rule of thumb, that either the scrap piece is above or below the blade as you cut?

dont need a jig, Milw,WI has more then enough of them!!!!!!!!!!! Thats how I trim my finger nails!!! Which way on the bevel cut? was my???????

IIWM, the scrap goes above the blade. Watch out for when it flies!!!:eek: Tis easier to control the important piece from below. JMHO.
Above assumes ripping. Below assumes cross cutting.
A smaller piece(shorter) could be held from above the blade.
A longer piece may need to have the carriage and headstock moved to the right end of the way tubes.

What was that??? SS are great but there weakest point is a TS unless you have the newest one. Mike Young at the demo did, changed it out in about 15 seconds with the guard attached, I was impressed with that change. Demo was great, still creaming about the Power Pro!!!!
