Goiung to install on the next few days after some clean up and getting new belts from MKC. Any suggestions, info would be appreciated!!
10ER Speed Changer Belt Set
10ER speed changer belt set of two Goodyear high performance cogged style belts and extra flexible for better effeciency. They also have the raw "cut edge" design for greater traction with less tension. Much easier on bearings. I am curious how 'mkc' instructs the installation of the belts. I have my own 'ideas', but do not wish to divulge them as I have only done that once.

JPG, I noticed you have gotten more nocturnal!!! Sometimes I put the cart in front of the Mules here!!! The Tennessee ones. LOL!!!!!! I posted about buying the Original SS Speed changer belts. I think you said they are a 1/2' longer!!!
A can the motor adjust to them???
B is there a better option???

Motor elevation is adjustable.
The 'extra' belt length must also also be accommodated by adjusting the indicator plate.
IMHO 'full speed' is when the motor belt riding on the large pulley just touches the center pulley center 'ridge'. The indicator plate should read 5.
The SS procedure assumes the original size belt and factory setting of the indicator plate.
IMHO the zero reference for the indicator plate is when the main shaft belt riding on the large pulley just touches the center pulley center ridge.
The sequence must be to set the 0 first. Adjust the speed control arm for the belt fit described above for zero reference, then adjust the indicator plate to 0.
Set the speed control to '5', then adjust the motor 'elevation' for the full speed condition as described above.
Thus the shorter belt is not used for making the two adjustments. Final determination of 'correctness' must be done with both belts attached.(it affects the tension).
Actually I manually pull the short belt into the speed adjuster pulley to provide tension when making the two adjustments above.
This is not intended to be a step by step procedure, but an explanation of what I consider necessary to accommodate the longer belts.
