Final Steps
Added red felt to all drawers and applied my brand to bottom to complete the box. One good polish job just before Christmas before wrapping should finish up this year's project.

Left Over Blocks
I've sanded smooth all of the waste plugs that are a by product of my drawers and now have to decide if I can make use of them. I have several ideas that might work out. Only time will tell. Constructive suggestions are welcome.

More Boxes
Well, here is what I made of the scrap plugs from my original boxes. Smaller, one drawer boxes. Just the right size for those special rings. Now what to do with the scrap plugs from these smaller boxesfredsheldon wrote:I've sanded smooth all of the waste plugs that are a by product of my drawers and now have to decide if I can make use of them. Re: Decision Time
Last year at our annual Agency Christmas Auction my donated bowl went for $251.00. This year I donated my 4 drawer box, and 5 of my 1 drawer boxes along with another bowl and a a pen/letter opener set. The 1 drawer boxes sold for between $35 and $50 each. My bowl went for $100.00. My pen and letter opener set went for $60.00. And finally, my 4 drawer box went for $385.00. I also gifted all my 2 drawer boxes to 17 families. Now what to make for my next years project. I have some ideas but will have to experiment a little to see if they will work out.
