Hmmm. Martini. "Shaken, not stirred". And I had you pegged as a Scotch drinker.db5 wrote:David BrownLtd. Aston Martin. SirDavid Brown(10 May 1904 – 3 September 1993). First name Dennis. Resident of Ohio, the Buckeye state. Alumnus of, and then research engineer at The Ohio State University (as a young pup). Husband and father to some rabid OSU Buckeye football and basketball fans.
Personally, I'm still just trying to score a good deal on a nice piece of buckeye burl to turn on my Shopsmith.

Stumpbuster
Stumpbuster was my CB handle from the 60's. To me it seemed appropriate as a woodworking forum handle
In the area I grew up in a stumpbuster was a glass of beer with a shot glass full of whiskey dropped in the beer. Those were the days when the pleasure outweighed the pain.

I retired from Bell Atlantic with 30 years. Now I relate them to Bell Head. Some of us can not get the "Bell System" out of our mind. I tried to sign in with bell head, but bell is what was registered. thanks Ron:)

Between doing other things around the house and yard I’ve been enjoying reading through this thread; thinking that I’d add the ‘significance’ of my screename when I reached the end. However, being busy and this thread growing so quickly, I decided to deliver my entry now and continue reading the other posts later.
My screen moniker is the very first name I chose upon signing up for >gasp< AOL (at the behest of a client). It has been both useful and has sometimes caused me a bit of trouble. i.e. — I’d sometimes sign onto a dating site where women who were interested to speak to me were under the impression that the name indicated that I would prepare breakfast should we become an item.
Not impossible, but not likely.
Wanting clients to be able to find me easily, and fearful that I’d have trouble remembering the doggone screename, among a myriad of passwords, myself, it amounts to no more than my first and second initials and full last name.
Suffice it to say that I only provided this needlessly extended account in order to make it appear more interesting than it actually is. Habit of the trade — Advertising.
My avatar… I imagine anybody over twenty years of age knows who he is.
