I Box Project

My first project with the I-Box was supposed to be something a little more refined but we had a family pet that needed one last project first.

No tweaking, fine adjusting, or special setup. The pine was scrap laying around the shop, some was cupped about 1/8 - 1/4 across the 8" sides. I actually spent more time sanding this project to get a fresh surface than cutting.

This is by far the easiest setup for box joints I've ever used.

Wow. That's a good advertisement for the I-Box.

Not trying to advertise. I used to hate box joints on the table saw. Set up always seemed to take forever before I reached "Good enough". Then I switched to the original Incra jig on the router table. I liked that a lot but it only has so much travel. This jig was super easy to use, didn't feel like I was fighting with a process at all.

Very nice. Sorry for the loss of your pet though. I have an I box but haven't had the chance to use it yet. Soon, hopefully.

Nice work on the box, Paul.
The I Box is a great little jig, isn't it.
I too, fought with a home made TS jig, and a few router jigs. Besides the SS, the I Box is one of the best investments in the shop I ever made.
