Dennis, look at the inside. Looks to me, like they glued up a bunch of 2X4s.
How slow will that tractor idle? Glad I'm not turning it! (Won't fit my Model 10!):D

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.
Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

I did some research and found that it is 8foot 6inch wide, by 2foot 6inch deep laminated bowl, mounted on a specially built lathe. The "Big Bowl", still mounted on it's huge lathe, is housed in the local Museum, and is certainly worthy of a visit.. The Forum is no longer working. I used Google Chrome and found this.

I'll agree it is mounted on a "specially lathe" but having a relatively new all wheel drive tractor retired to a museum seems to be a stretch (I did not see a picture of it at the web-site). As far as gearing goes--put the transmission in "ole grandma (1st gear)" and at idle there would be no problem turning that piece at any speed you cared to do so.
