That floor looks much like his as Dusty has said, "it will pass a cafeteria inspection". He has previously sold a shorty. He has not been on here recently. I hope he is in good health both personally and financially.beeg wrote:There was also another member from Greer.
And he did get that fancy European style machine!

Yes, I have been to his shop several times and I recognize the garage door and the clean floor. Also, I know he had upgraded the rails to the ones with the magnetic scale.
I ran into him a few weeks ago. In addition to his cabinet making business at his home, he now also works in a larger cabinet shop. He invited me to come by and see it but I have not been there yet. He appears to be in good health.

Thanks for that update. I now can assume that he is just too busy (that is Good) to spend time on the forums. He belongs to two or three others where he has not posted recently either.

I was wondering what happened to that sorry rascal!:D
Actually I was approached about 2 years ago by a high end builder to set up a shop for them. Still having plenty of work on my own things got a little hectic for a while and I fell out of habit of this forum and others. I haven't done any work from home in about a year now but you never know what the future holds. I'll not go into details but it is not a job I would have taken if I had had a crystal ball.
As to the 520 I'm trying to sell its just to make some space for other things I have going on now. I've cut the price as low as I will go so I may wind up keeping it. At any rate I will always have at least 1 Shopsmith at the ready!
I hope everyone here is healthy and happy. I really enjoyed all the time spent on this forum.

When I first got my Shopsmith I contacted Mark to get some advice. He invited me to his shop (about 30 minutes from me). It was awesome. And he answered many of my questions. Thank you Mark !
