Fred, if they shut the exits down in your part of the world, sneak up to the panhandle. I'm a NM native transplanted into TX, but I know enough back roads to get you more west-er and you can head west-est if you want :D

LOL. I go through Springerville and Snowflake a lot. We use the Mogollon Rim route of AZ 260 to go to California all the time. Beautiful part of our country partner! <-- Western talk :D

Anyway, I will act like a Texan now and tell you that Arizona was part of New Mexico at first .... LOL :D

May drop in and buy you a cup of coffee some day! :)

Dick, me and Gene (not to mention Dusty and a host of others) just might disagree with you.:D And, we have (some) paved roads here, too.

Oh, you northern Mexicans, are just the eastern side of the West. We, even have "west" west of us. (If anyone considers California the true "West.") :D

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

Yeah, but then there is the "Californication" of Arizona factor kinda ruins your argument .... :D

I will ignore the California and Hawaii part, because I have no (good) argument for that .....

Dick, you need to go and see Hawaii. Not just a visit, but SEE the place. (Last visit, I was there for 6 years.)
