Unertl Rifle Scope box

Post by dgreen810 »

I decided to make a box to keep one of my Unertl rifle scopes in when it's not on a rifle. 3/8" hard pine. finger joints, lined with sheep skin at the contact points. Box is 29" long x 5" x 4".

Nice box joints etc....

I presume sheep skin does not retain/attract moisture?

With all that lanolin?

Again, great looking scope box.

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

Because the sheep, having been shot, no longer needed it?
