Found what I think is a 510 which is about 90 minutes away but only 20 minutes from where I'll be golfing on Wednesday.

Since that's an older main table in the box and a 510 main table mounted, that one probably started life as a 500 and got upgraded to a 510 (very common and nothing wrong with the upgrade route).

I'll never understand why somebody that is trying to sell something can't post a better pic then that. Wow.
SS Mark V (1983 from Grandfather) upgraded to a 510, pieces to make a 500 mini, SS bandsaw, belt sander, broken scroll saw, and strip sander, Jet VS Mini Lathe, and tons of Lee Valley and vintage Stanley planes. Woodcraft slow speed grinder and a German made Tormek wannabe. Ridgid TS 3650 Table Saw, General 80-075LM Jointer.

Hey, before you go call him and ask for the serial number and that way you can get an idea of the DOM. My guess is that it was a 500 as well.

That $ is more realistic. A more likely upgrade was to a '505' since the tubes and floating tables are not apparent.

Definitely a more reasonable $.

It was sold. Better luck next time. You guys are good. I downloaded the pics from SS' history page and kept flicking back and forth in the foreground while looking at the CL pic. I thought it was a 510.
