Double tilt lock knob???
Can someone tell me why SS made the lock knob on the double tilt two pieces. I have one that came a part and the screw will not come out. I think, I can remove the screw with a double nut but don't know yet. Also any ideas how to prevent this can of problem in the future. Thanks for any help on this one.
Just thought, I would let you all know that I finally broke down and call Shopsmith about the problem with the knobs coming loose on the double tilt horizontal lock knobs. Linda informed me that Shopsmith now makes a one piece horizontal lock knob for the double tilt and Shopsmith is replacing the knobs. Thanks Linda and Shopsmith.
