Signs of the Times

Post by db5 »

Batman’s 62 and may be getting Alzheimer’s.

Decisions, decisions.

Well finally! Until now only 36% of women have been able to find this. (Of course those are the ones who refused to ask for directions.)

And this means YOU!

Truth in advertising.

Another sign created by a government worker.

Hope the emergency isn’t an emergency.

Finger lickin’ good! I’ll bet you get free gas with the chicken.

Those Fu King Chinese are taking over the world.

You knew it all along, didn’t you?

Hmm? Weird combination.

This will sell. Where do I get a franchise?

McDeath?

This sign was supposed to be erected inside the DC Beltway.

To calm those stressed rabbits.

No, the other right, stupid!

Huh?

When we were in High School we had to figure out where they were on our own.

Wonder what’s on the road when it snows.

He's just teasing us. You know how those Okies are!:D

(Lived 5 years, AND got my first Model 10 in Lawton. I'm just funnin.')

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

Not Me

Post by db5 »

I didn't post any of that so I was hacked, but have resolved the problem - I hope. Beware of any email coming from me from this site for the next 2 weeks, just to be sure. BTW I "ain't" no Okie. I just moved here due to temporary insanity. I wear a UT (Texas) hat, ugly orange with the longhorn because I wanted a hat, it was on sale for $2 and I offered $1. I knew no one would steal it and I get a lot of comments - and hand signals. A few are the "Hook-em-Horns" and the others are the one-way (one finger up) from the OU die-hards. I suspect they will die hard this year with the most recent loss. Keep it in perspective. Five years from know who cares? If you are still telling someone about that game-winning touchdown you did in high school then this may not be fore you. Life moves on.

Db5, I can understand the "Hacking" issue, though I've never been there. Friends, however...

About the "Okie" issue, that was just funning. If you saw the "rest of the story" or the rest of my last post, you might understand.

I won't call you an Okie any more! I've learned.

Friends still? Did I mention my first Shopsmith came from Okie-ville? :D

Steve: I learned many years ago that I can't be insulted unless I choose to be. NOTHING directed toward me insults me. Now, directed toward someone else sometimes can be offensive.
